BMW of North America
Sherpa served for six years as “Launch Manager”, developing ideas, planning programs and integrating agency/internal teams for new vehicle launches and marketing partnerships with: jetBlue, ESPN, Equinox, NBA and Apple Computer, overseeing the breakthrough initiative “iPod Your BMW.” Lee was later hired by the company full time to manage the iconic MINI brand.

Sherpa is providing strategic guidance and marketing services for companies in the industry ranging from hemp (Eaton Hemp), CBD (Acabada) and Cannabis platform (Vana) products and services. Sherpa led the repositioning and name change from “Muncheez” to “Vana.”

Emusic
Lee was hired as contracted and eventual full time Chief Marketing and Digital Officer to grow the digital entertainment company. He oversaw a team of 15 people, hired outside agencies and was responsible for: brand re-launch, acquisition marketing, retention/loyalty and revenue. The new vision led to deals with the major record labels, 18% new member increases at more efficient CAC and 30 % higher LTV and positioned the company for a successful acquisition.
NYC EDC
When NY and NJ were bidding to host the Super Bowl, the NYC Economic Development Corp needed to convince the NFL Owners to vote for the plan. Sherpa led development of key communication materials, including a mock newspaper five years in the future, that were presented to the Owners and secured the winning bid.
RIDEMAKERZ
Sherpa was first hired by the new entertainment retail company (owned by Build A Bear) to develop the digital and retail experience. Lee became the first Chief Marketing & Interactive Officer, overseeing an in-house team and firms to build: the brand, integrated marketing initiatives, an ecommerce platform, social media and online games. RideMakerz was recognized as “Retail Concept of the Year” and was later acquired by an international real estate venture firm.
